Educational settings today require teachers and leaders to focus on teaching, leading and learning in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) World.
Educators and leaders that understand how and why humans behave can enhance a quality learning environment that caters for the unique needs of students, teachers,administrators, support staff, parents and carers in their community.
The Salutogenic Schools Alliance Neuroeducation Professional Learning Series draws upon the most current research in neuroscience, models of internal psychology, and educational theory to help educators understand how the brain learns and develops and how educators can use this knowledge to design and deliver more effective, engaging, and emotionally supportive learning experiences to Generation Alpha.
This professional learning is structured in two modules:
- Module 1 - Neuroeducation Foundations
- Module 2 - Neuroeducation in Practice

- Exploring strategies for leading and guiding behaviour for neurodiverse students
- Solution focused mediation and coaching techniques
- Embedding social and emotional learning and personal character competencies through the PDHPE syllabus
- Enhancing HPGE in all domains through social and emotional peak experiences
- Neuroeducation informed school culture whole school wellbeing
Statement of impact
Since the inception of SSA in 2023, we have delivered impactful neuroeducation professional learning to over 2000 educators and consulted to numerous school leadership teams to drive transformational school improvement initiatives.
